How long does Christmas last in your household?

Contributor: spiced spiced
When I was growing up, my parents were fairly religious and we always observed all 12 days of Christmas. Because of this, we waited a long time to put up our decorations, usually just a day or two before Christmas Day. Now, I'm not religious at all, but I still do the 12 days with my family. And we still put up decorations right before Christmas Eve. I think Christmas is the nicest time of the whole year, so why not enjoy as much as you can?

How about you? How long does Christmas last at your house?

Since my kiddo has so many different family members (most of which who can't stand each other) Christmas things start from like December 20th to December 30th.

Usually just to the 25th. We take decorations down the day after Christmas.

I knew most people didn't keep the whole 12 days, but I had no idea so many only had Christmas Day itself. Sad, really. I suggest to anyone whose Christmas ends on the 25th that you try expanding your Christmas season. Heck, it's not too late for this year!
