I hear grandparents tell of a time when this WAS a "nice gift" between friends. I have never gotten one as a gift. Have you? Did you THIS year????

I never got one for anyone! Ever! However, three years ago, my father in law gave us one because it was his favorite holiday dessert! OMG!!

My wonderful, beautiful mother gifted me a fruitcake...knowing I hate them, meaning she gets to eat it all lol. Thank goodness that isn't all I got!

YES!!!!!!!! This is hilarious! My grandfather gave us a fruit cake this xmas. We all had a good laugh. I don't think anyones going to eat it though...

Haha I got one and it was literally a brick of food. That kind of food will never go bad and you will never eat. It's Apocalypse type of food lol
