If my husband is off work in time we take our son trick-or-treating together. No one hands out candy.

When our kids were younger my hubby and I would but a big bowl out for the kids to take their candy because we both took our kiddos trick or treating together. But now that they are older they can go out themselves so we can enjoy seeing the little kids in their outfits and hand out candy together.
