I worked food service and retail on Black Fridays. Most horrible thing the corporations can do to employees. And they all wonder why we want combat pay for that day.

Thanksgiving at home, sleep in the next day, and plot my weekend shenanigans involving the boyfriend. Perfect.

Black Friday, people are usually always yelling in my house about something stupid on Thanksgiving. Plus they get all defensive that I don't pray (I'm an atheist).

Black Friday. Thanksgiving is great and all, it's just that the rest of the family lives on the other side of the country, so it's just the five of us. So Thanksgiving is like any other day, just with more food.
