What kind of decorations are on your tree?

Ours was a black tree with bright green ornaments and silver bows, icicles, and snowflakes, with white lights. Just bought the tree and seeing how Halloween is our favorite holiday this will probably be done up for Halloween as well. Not sure with what just yet, but the plans are in the works.

Just took my tree down~ Well it's a little odd, he's Catholic and I'm Jewish, but I was the one that moved in with the tree. My family is also Catholic, I converted for myself. We have a green fake tree and I use blue and white lights. I'm an admitted nerd and otaku, so I decorate the tree with capsule toy balls. Then we pick a theme, like last year was Mario(gold coins, Mario toys and a Mario plus holding a star at the top.) This year was Pandas, I got a bunch of tiny panda toys and my panda pillow pet sat under the tree. He finished the theme and found my a Pandy Clause card for the holiday.

My menorah also uses mini LED lights rather then candles since I was bad at remembering to blow them out. You can see 09's Christmas set up on ThinkGeek as a user photo, we sent it in for the LED Graffiti lights.

Our tree is a mix of chilidsh ornaments. Either ones made as children, or by children, along with stuffed toys, and LOTS of cartoon character.
It's exciting to see other kids come in and be fascinated with the 'fun' tree. I guess their parents have boring ones.

At Christmas, I am in charge of the tree. In my religion, it is a representation of our world, though to me I just see something to be admired, so I go all out with so much tinsel, multi-coloured lights, little (and big) balls. Too, I include some musical instruments and I hide little figurines for people to find, like a mini hide and seek.

As you can probably tell, I love celebrations!

Regardless of how you decorate, a pre lit LED tree now makes things SO much simpler...never any "burned out bulbs" or dead strands, ever again. Yahooooo.

I've always wanted a super cheesy white tree. I could rotate out the colours of lights and have tinsel and coloured balls and snjdfksgn it would be so 80's and ridiculous. It's my mini dream.
