Every year I used to wait up until 2:00 am - then go in and wake The Socialites up and tell them that Santa came.

Since they're teenagers and picked everything out themselves, The Husband went into their room at 2:00 am and screamed "IT'S CHRISTMAS!" - and they both almost shit their pj's.

We open presents on Christmas Eve at midnight.

We opened some presents on Christmas Eve at my uncles house. Then, this morning, we went to my brothers house at 11am to open presents with him and his children. Then... at around 2pm, we went somewhere else to exchange gifts.

It wasn't until around 7pm that we got around to opening the gifts at home.

We opened gifts with the kids at around 8:15 in the morning, but we opened our 'special' gifts after the kids were in bed, around 8pm.

It was rather late this year - around 8:30. My husband is awake around 5am but this year he let me sleep until I woke up on my own.
