When did you start hearing Christmas music this year?

Virgingasms Virgingasms
One of my local radio stations held a contest this year for people to guess when they would begin playing Christmas music. My mom guessed a week before Black Friday and she was right. It seems like they start earlier every year.

My brother works in retail and he said his store started playing Xmas music toward the end of October or the beginning of November. That would drive me insane.

It's not that I'm not a fan, I just don't like hearing it for 2 months straight! When it's actually Christmastime I love it. It just gets incredibly annoying after a while.

I heard Christmas music on the radio yesterday and I don't mind at all, because I love the Christmas spirit and atmosphere; but then I only listen to the radio when we're in the car, so the music isn't playing consistently all day long, or else I might go insane also!

I heard Christmas music the day before Halloween! All the Halloween stuff was picked over but they already had all the Christmas stuff stocked up in the back and I heard music.

I am a fan of Christmas music during the Christmas season. When I hear it too early it is agrivating and I feel manipulated.

I first heard Christmas music at a restaurant this morning. I guess I got pretty lucky avoiding it for this long!

Christmas music shouldn't be played until after Thanksgiving. We all know Christmas is coming up, and we don't need the constant "reminder". This year, retailers have almost completely bypassed Thanksgiving. It's sad.

Since I never really listen to the actual radio unless I am getting ready to go somewhere or in the shower I have yet to hear it. If I put on the country stations I normally listen to I am sure they are already playing it.

November 12 on my local station - 24/7. I really don't mind it after Thanksgiving, though. It's close enough.

I haven't been in store to notice it there, but the radio had a bit on the other night.
However, I'm one of those people that listens to it willingly all year round because it makes me happy. ^_^
