I am totally scared of the reeeeeeeeeeeeally scary looking monsters and the hallucination sort, in which the person is mentally disturbed and hallucinates weird stuff...

Those aren't bad, I personally don't find them terrifying. I love the fear of the unknown, as far as movies, the original Black Christmas and The Thing with Kurt Russell are among the best. I like not knowing much detail about the killer whether it is a person/creature/alien. It makes it far more frightening

As Gold Lion said, the psychological ones are the coolest to me. I like something that can give me chills. There is a movie called Grotesque which was actually banned in a couple countries because it caused "psychological damage" to viewers. Those kind of movies are the BEST in my opinion!

For me it's usually the sort that feature things I'm around every day like mirrors, but a lot of the Asian horror movies scare me more than most too. I think that's more because I didn't grow up with that type of horror though.
