has anybody else read thios book. Is it just me or does it share a lot with the new book and movie Hunger games. I know battle Royale has been around longer.

I somehow missed the whole Hunger Games book phenomena, however when I first saw a trailer for the movie I turned to my husband and said "They've ripped off Battle Royale." I haven't read the trilogy or watched the movie so I might be wrong, but there's enough evidence floating around the net for me not to bother investigating further.
