Has easy access to newer movies at home/online..etc, made it less common for you to go to a movie theater? If you care to comment, has your going to the theater been effected by such things as cost, personal safety, even such things as exposure to flu virus in crowds? I heard all these issues have been cited in a recent study of why movie theater attendance is down. What is your movie attendance situation?

I'd say I go to the movies about the same as I did years ago. I never really went that often and still don't go often.

I rarely go to the movie theater now. With school and other stuff, finding time is hard. Plus, a lot more people go to the movie than when I used to go a lot. This means more talking, singing, knowing the words, reactions...I really don't like it. So when I do go to the movies, it's usually not to big movies (I did not go see Dark Knight Rises or Avengers in theater) and they usually have been out for a while so like no one is there.

WAY less. In high school it was a social outing, but since I'm an adult now it's easier to hang out with people.

I only go nowadays if it's a movie I really know I will love and have to see on big screen!

With the little ones at home, we don't really think it's worth it to get a sitter just to go see a movie in the theater. We like to curl up in bed and watch movies after they are asleep.

That being said, if there was a movie we really wanted to see....that would be more visually impressive on the big screen, we might decide to....but it would take a lot...

we go more now, but that is because we purchase tickets from the kids PTA. We get to watch kids movies right before they go to DVD sells, for like $.80 each kid. So we go about 30 times a year.

I don't go at all, I patiently wait for the DVDs to come out. My husband and son, on the other hand, will watch the big action movies in the theaters occasionally.

I used to go fairly often in high school. Since I've been in college, I've seen a total of two movies in theaters. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 and part 2.

A little less than before. Cost is too high and the ones around me are poorly run: unclean, bad concessions, cold, people talking.
