These are pretty low grade movies I would never pay the price to see at the theatre, the first one was meh, fairly okay. Overall I found almost everything about them to be boring. After the first one it went downhill. Terrible script and acting, did not enjoy the story line. Sigh I know I will be a party pooper with it as I know a lot of people really love the underworld series.
I quite enjoy many vampire and werewolf based tv shows/movies, but underworld is just not one of them.

Nope, I don't like them either. And I'm pretty fed up with the vampire/werewolf/zombi e craze on television. It's been done, to death.

Honestly when I made that post I was thinking, oh crap I just know I'm going to piss off some hardcore underworld fans and I'm not going to hear the end of it haha. Surprisingly no one said much about it. I don't mind some of the vampire/monster/werewo lf/zombie flicks. But a lot of them are overdone and just pointless. The Walking Dead is not too bad, but I have seen the same stuff in that show in many other shows/movies.
I must say however that 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later were fairly good in some sense. Just certain aspects about those I thoroughly enjoyed.
I'm really tired of the vampire and werewolf craze going on today, but I am excited about it because I've been a hardcore fan since the beginning, except the second one, that just sucked.
I think watch the earlier movie(s) with my husband. I'm not sure.. I tend to fall asleep when we're cuddled together, and that was years ago. Don't really plan on seeing this one. We're trying to save money, and movies aren't really a thing for us anymore.

I just don't think of those types of creatures as characters that should have episodic adventures. I'm terribly traditional when it comes to my preferences about vampires and werewolves in media. I didn't watch Buffy or Angel either.
