I watch shows and it helps making me feel better about my life or learn some "life lessons" though most people would say it's a bunch of truisms. When I don't have somebody to tell me that I can do something or how to react to some situation or don't feel comfortable sharing what is on my mind, I can watch some TV and maybe one episode will motivates me or makes me think about the situation I'm in through some new lights.
It also can makes me think of some persons if they like the same show I do and I can't see them for the moment.
I also watch fashion shows, history chanels and some science programs. Great to comfortably discover new stuffs the lazy way, then I can make some researches and sometimes I really get interested in the designer or era or inventor.
Hate most news, though, keep that horror show away from me!
(for things that might be stressful, I prefer reading.)
Don't watch it more than a few times a week or less, though, mostly during periods when I'm really stressed; when I'm doing fine, I don't watch it so often.
