Either can be good but 30 mins I find not to be enough time to draw me into the show.

I guess I like longer shows. One hour is a bit more time to really get into the story. I am the same with books... I love books that come in a series. If I like the story, I want it to go on and on.

I prefer 30 minute shows because it makes it easier to clear out the DVR, but most of my favorite shows are an hour long. ^_^
