Probably "Kinksi Uncut" by Klaus Kinski. It's just too bizarre for explanation.

i don't really go back to read a book more than once, no matter how much i loved it. it's just not the same for me. but my fav book of all time is Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. I loved the action, suspense, the romance & sexual tension, but mostly the art history.

I... honestly don't think I could pick a favorite. I read so many books that I don't think I could ever decide. Here's a few that really stand out, though:

Felidae by Akif Pirinçci
John Dies at the End by David Wong
Story Time by Edward Bloor
The Jungle Book(s) by Rudyard Kipling
Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert C. O'Brien
and Watership Down by Richard Adams

Though I'm always reading, so new favorites might pop up at any moment!

For pure comfort, I'd say The Lord of the Rings trilogy or the Harry Potter series. They're so detailed that they don't seem to get old; there's always something I missed. And they're each based on their own "world" that I can just fall into and get lost in for a few hours.

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, awesome book, bad movie. Book is way different.

Kushiel's Dart(And the 2 following) by Jacqueline Carey. Like EJ said, very very detailed in the historical BDSM romance that is set in its own world, but still this world (Like Harry Potter, only slightly different)

I loved The Good Earth by Pearl Buck...one I was forced to read in high school, but it was one of the best I ever read

"A Walk in the Woods" by Bil Bryson. The author and his buddy go on the Appalachian Trail hike from hell. Hilarity ensues.

I also love the Jurassic Park books by Michael Crichton. RIP, dude
