Have you ever watched a movie you wished you hadn't?

I'm not stupid or lack common sense because I wanted to see what everyone was cringing about! Normally movies don't gross me out or disturb me days later. It's called curiosity. And no, I don't like it.

This. I'm never bothered when I watch horror movies — I know it's all fake — but the shit always comes back to mess with my subconscious.

I enjoyed The Ring (original Japanese version, not the US PoS) but for a few weeks after, walking into a room with a dark television freaked me out.

I will not watch The Human Centipede and it pisses me off that if you type just "huma-" into google, the first auto-fill option is the movie.

YES! OMG! Not too long ago, I seen a movie called "A siberian film". I wish I had not seen it. I wish I could scrub my brain clean! The things showed in that movie sould have put people in jail... Eventhough it was a movie, it was WAYYYYYYY too much... It isn't a movie for the weak of heart.... I feel like that is a movie straight from the devil himself..... I downloaded it offline, once I watched it, I scrubed my computer of it.

Yes.
Ghost of girlfriends past.
That was the most awful movie, I saw it when I was younger(with my boyfriend) and it completely ruined my self esteem, after seeing it I almost commited suicide 3 times within a two year period, I still am not over it.

There are many movies I've seen that I wished I hadn't simply because they were bad. Other than that, I love horror movies and none have actually ever scared me because I find them predictable and can always figure out what's going on. Plus they're never that scary to begin with.

However, the only movie to truly freak me out was Lake Mungo. It's not that scary of a movie, but there are a few scenes that just freaked me out and I really wished I hadn't seen it (though I am addicted to horror movies). When they show the twisted face of the daughter that drowned and near the end where they show cell phone footage of her seeing her "doppelganger" before she died (which is the same twisted death face)... that just freaked me right the fuck out! I'm not one who scares easily, but I continued to be freaked out for days! Now I better stop thinking about that or I'll just freak myself out again.

YES, more than I want to count. If it leaves a bad feeling insideI usually don't remember anything but the bad taste in my mouth.

About a month ago I watched the remake of Premonition on TV since I had seen the original and liked it. I was severely depressed and completely detached (out of body-feeling) for at least a week. I don't know how it affected me that deeply; no matter how hard I tried there was this indestructible wall between my physical and emotional/mental self. I used to feel that way a lot of the time after my depression started in middle school, but I had forgotten just how traumatizing that state of being was for me. Similar thing happened after watching Henry Poole is Here, but that didn't last as long...

I know I did but I don't remember which one. So I voted no as having forgotten I don't regret/wish I didn't anymore. It was just a loss of my time that I forgot, though it really bothered me at the moment.

I've definitely watched tons of movies I didn't like before..usually romantic comedies are pretty bad. I think the last one I didn't really like had Reese Witherspoon in it and Owen Wilson. Just was not a good movie.

Many but the #1 was Human Centipede. It wasn't scary, just gross and all around awful.

I really enjoyed the book, but definitely a sad ending...

Creepshow 2. I went to a birthday party of a friend when I was 6 (YES, 7, OH MY GOD SOME PARENTS!) and they were playing it for her 7th birthday. I had nightmares for literally YEARS. I absolutely hate scary movies.

I've heard of this film, and I simply couldn't believe what I was hearing. Could you help me, please? Does the actor(s?) really perform acts of necrophilia and paedophilia? Or was it simulated?

I'm pretty sure the dead bodies, the baby and kid weren't real, but I just need to make sure.

I haven't watched a movie I've regretted, like ever. Even if it leaves me with lingering effects ( like covering the tv at night or removing the mirrors from my room ) it's not really something that bothers me in the 'why did I watch that I shouldn't have' way.

There's been several that I haven't liked. I'm pocky when it comes to my movies. It needs a good storyline.
