I like Interview with the Vampire, Dracula and Buffy Vampires. I'm totally ok with Vampire Diaries ones as well.. for a romantic vampire show it can be kinda dark.

I like both kinds, or (even better) cute ones that can turn all monstrous under certain conditions. The transition from hot to scary is really interesting to me.

I prefer then like the ones in Interview With a Vampire or as horribly terrifying monsters like Nosferatu or the vampires in Priest.

I think vampires are more frightening when they're irresistible (because of sex appeal or charm or some similar thing) but sadistic and evil.
