How often do you go to the theatre for a movie?

We tend to go in waves, sometimes we will go for a while without going out to the movies, then we'll see a couple in a few weeks

I go very very infrequently; I find them to be incredibly expensive, and the movie theaters in my area are very unclean; I've seen rats in them, and there were rumours of bedbugs.
Besides, everything comes out on DVD eventually.

I'll go if someone else asks if I want to see a movie. Theater movies usually give me a headache for some reason, so I try to avoid them.

During the summer I went a lot because my family members tend to get me movie passes for gifts fairly often. If I dont have passes I am less likely to go.

I used to go often, then occasionally. Now I rarely go. As the price of movie tickets keep increasing I go less and less. I'd rather wait for the movie to come out on netflix.

Almost never. I would rather watch everything at home. The only time we go is when my wife really really wants to see a movie at the theaters, which isn't that often.

Very rarely. My man and I are kind of cheapos when it comes to stuff like that, and have a hard time justifying spending the amount that it costs to see a movie in the theaters. Unless it's a matinee of a movie we REALLY want to see, we'll wait until it's on Netflix.

It is about 2-3 times a year, which to me falls under rarely. I will go for soemthing that I have been looking forward to for many months (example: the matrix 2, or Wolverine) but I would rarely go for a movie just for the fun of it unless I was going with friends.
I did watch Avatar 3D in theatres (It was FREAKIN' awesome!) and now I can't wait for Avatar 2 to come out!!!

I have netflix. I dont know what you guys are raving about... maybe you have better netflix in the states? Mine is netflix Canada and it certainly does not have all the new movies. I do however tend to dl stuff online sometimes before its even out in theaters

I don't go to the theaters to see new releases very often. However, 3 or 4 weeks after a movie's release, all the theaters in my town show the movies for $5 on Tuesdays. That's a good deal.

Only if there's something that absolutely needs to be seen in theaters. Like The Dark Knight. I don't even remember the last movie I went to go see...maybe it was Alice in Wonderland?

We go when we have enough Scene points for two free tickets, and if there's something we desperately want to see out. Last movie we saw in the cinema was How To Train Your Dragon, and the next will be Tron 2.
