Okay, so we got a tv, and put it in our bedroom. I know, two things I thought I wouldn't do. We only get local channels, for now at least, but I have been watching reruns of MASH and my lord is it good. has anyone else watched it. i use to watch as a kid, but never could follow it. I'm glad i stumbled on to it now.

Have always liked it. The writing is always tight and the actors are incredibly versatile. Admittedly, the Alda-in-charge episodes (latter half of the series) can be heavy-handed, but it's understandable in the time frame it was produced. I like the research that had gone into the making of it.
Read the original book (the one the movie was made from). It's got insanely good stuff in it (like the autographed photos of Jesus scheme).

I watched it some when I was a teenager. I liked it then and I'm pretty sure I would now. I just don't have enough time to watch all the shows I like.

M.A.S.H. was a really great show. I still watch it from time to time. I like that it could be funny in a "witty" kind of way, and sometimes be really serious. It felt like the closest thing you could imagine to a show feeling like a realistic situation. There's a movie for M.A.S.H., too. You should check it out if you're a big fan of the show.

I have it on DVD and still enjoy it especially the later episodes with Colonel Potter, BJ and Major Charles Emerson Winchester III. The show was great because it displayed the best and the worst sides of human nature. I especially like it because its something both my dad and I like to watch and talk about. You could call it our bonding TV show.

My fiance has the box set, and we watch it whenever we can. It's one of our favorite shows of all time (right up there with West Wing).
