Every time Nicki Minaj is in a song, my guy and I will change the station at least for the portion of the song she is in. Personally, we can't stand her when she raps, although we don't mind her as much when she SINGS. We both feel that she and most female rappers RUIN the music. Can't stand it! How about you?

I don't really care for her music. But I like her as a celebrity. Soooort of like Gaga. She isn't afraid to be out there and crazy and just do what she wants or be wildly fierce in an unconventional way.

Mostly though, I just LOVE how much she unofficially reps for the lgbts out there. She's fairly popular in a lot of gay communities, in part because she's so damn fly and a wee bit diva. Problem here being that mainstream hip hop is extraordinarily homophobic. She, however, goes hard for her fans. All of them. And even called herself gay when asked about it. She hasn't tried to get all political, but her message of inclusion has been clear all the same. Good for her.

I think her rapping is really brutal. She's so fucking good at it, but I hate how she focuses so much on her appearance and other unnecessary things. She should just rap instead.

Um...you're thinking of Rihanna. She did those sketches. They're both Black females, but that's pretty much their only similarity. That, and Rihanna guested on Pink Friday?

I hated her at first just because I felt like she took shots at Lil Kim to make her name. For me, I think it's cheap to take the "beef" way to the top. However, I do think she's proved that she is a genuinely talented lyricist and she's one hell of a performer. Sometimes I really think acting was her true calling and she missed it. The beginning of the "Moment 4 Life" video is hilarious. (Also Drake looks super sexy in that, seriously.) She's won me over, absolutely. She's not without flaws, but I do like her a lot.

Eminem is a rapper but there have been songs where he has sang, not rapped. Same with her. Guess you've never heard the song Moment for Life, since she sang in that song.

Ah, didn't see this prior to my response, but since you know of the song I'm guessing you did hear her singing in it? The singing part WAS her, I even double checked myself just now.
