Okay, sci-fi geeks. If you watch "Revolution", how do you think the "power went out"?

Since the power is out, even batteries, it has to be a "damping field". I am not sure how the 12 "pendants" undo this, but, the damping field is certainly shut off, where a pendant is in use.

The spoiler is that if all "electrical" activity is shut down...even batteries, 1. Why is the electrical potential in living organisms, like humans, not "shut down"? 2. Why is this powerful enough to shut down all human electrical grids, but lightning storms (last show) still remain?

I don't really have a theory on why the power went out, but... whilst it probably shouldn't, it bothers me that they keep saying that "the lights" went out. It wasn't just the lights. It was all power. Lights going out are one thing. Power going out is another.

It's curious for sure. Given that it's JJ Abrams...we'll see.

Or we will watch the show for like 5 seasons are learn nothing. =( But I hope not, so far, it has gotten better after 5 episodes.
