Some old movies are brilliant (Fritz Lang's Metropolis, hello!).

I think overall, it's on a case-by-case basis though.

I love old movies, though as with anything they can be hit or miss. This week there is an outdoor screening of Casablanca which I can't wait to go to. (I know it's kind of a cheesy movie but I still consider it a classic and love it)

One of my favorite movies is Witness for the Prosecution. It's so much fun and with a delightful plot.

Really, I don't much care when a movie was made. I've met people who can't stand watching things in black and white, which boggles my mind. What about the plot? The characters? Did any of that register?

I really enjoy them. SOme are better then remakes. I even prefer to watch silent films. I love a bit of everything.

I love the old black and white movies that my husband is big into. I've definitely gotten into them more since being with him, and Casablanca is one of my favorite movies. Amazing to think that with how influential it's been, that it was just one of hundreds of movies being shot in one week at that time.

I love, love cheesy '80s flicks. I know they aren't that old, but I was born in 83 so I missed them all the first time around. I don't really watch black and whites, I like my color. lol.

Casablanca is my favorite movie of all time. I'm 20, and I hate how people my age quickly dismiss black and white films because they're "boring." Actually, because it's black and white, the directors and producers has a lot more to consider, which make it more of an art form if you ask me. Plus, Hollywood was much more glamorous back then. Movies today just don't excite me.
