For those who watched them the first time, or those discovering them in re-runs and lots of "weekend marathons"....which show was the best? Any opinion as to WHY?
Outer Limits or Twilight Zone. Still in REruns galore. Which was the better show?

I love the Twilight Zone. The writing, acting and production was all top notch. I just wish I hadn't seen every episode already.

I don't think I've ever seen Twilight Zone.. and Outer Limits... well, I've only seen the newer one. I'm not sure if that's the one you are talking about lol

I have only seen a few episodes of Twilight Zone, but never have seen Outer Limits.

They're both a little cheesy, but I thought the stories in the Twilight Zone were always better.

I have always been a Twilight Zone fan, and really never watched Outer Limits. What I like about the Twilight Zone is how sometimes they'll get you with a twist at the end. There's a lot of psychological tension in many of the episodes, I think in the whole of the series there was only maybe 2 episodes that I didn't like.

I've watched every episode of both including the original and the newer versions. I don't think either ever made a bad episode but my favorite is Twilight Zone.

I think The Twilight Zone had better writers (Charles Beaumont and Richard Matheson among them), although there's a few Outer Limits that Harlan Ellison wrote that were quite good.

I slightly remember Outer Limits but not enough. I love to watch the old black and white Twilight Zones and did growing up when I could catch them o TV. The one where the kid talks to his dead grandmother on the toy phone really creeped me out for awhile! Now, nothing rarely does . I remember they tried to remake The Twilight Zone but it just wasn't the same. I've been watching the original on Netflixs at night. I love Rod Sterling, he was such a handsome man!

I fancy the Twilight Zone. It was a show I grew up watching. Every time there was a marathon on, the TV was on playing it. As for Outer Limits, I've actually never seen the original, but I have seen the 1995 series, and whilst it does intrigue me and I like it, it's not the same as Twilight Zone is. I should probably check out the original series, but I've never seen it on.
