Do you have a tv show that you just refuse to watch. No matter how many people tell you it's great and that you need to watch it?

Actually, for the longest time I refused to watch Big Bang Theory because my mother's boyfriend loves that show and I despise him (trust me, it's well deserved despising).
But it's really quite funny so I wound up caving...now I just refuse to play the "Marvel/Avengers Alliance" game he likes on Facebook. xD

I can't stand reality shows, talent shows, and a lot of sitcoms. The only real "popular" show that I like is American Horror Story.

I don't refuse to watch anything. In fact, the more ridiculous yet popular it seems, I tune in out of curiosity. What are we paying attention to as a society these days? It's usually fascinating...and disappointing. Like when I watched Jersey Shore for five minutes. Wow.

TV as a reflection of who we are as a society simultaneously fascinates and repulses me. I briefly majored in psychology and media, so I think I have a "look at the freak show!" complex as a result...
