The Walking Dead Graphic Novels and Comics...

Contributor: Rod Ronald Rod Ronald
Okay, so I know that this has been posted a ton on here, but I seriously can't get over how much more...I can't find the words to say it, but man alive the graphic novels and comic books of the Walking Dead are just miles apart from the show. It's so god damn good it hurts.
So, if you have seen and read both, what changes to the show from the books make you pissed the most? What do you wish they would hurry up and get to? Or what looks lost forever due to the show?

Well, I adore Michonne so mostly I'm happy that she's finally in the show as long as they give her screen time. Aaaaand I'm super excited Daryl is getting more face time as well! I love Norman Reedus. I'm fairly happy that the show doesn't follow the books completely. I like being surprised.

Sofia, Dale, and the twins.

Spoilers:

Sofia is still alive in the book. Emotionally and mentally damaged, but there.

They've replaced Dale with Herschel in the show. Andrea was so in love with Dale in the books.

The twins are in the books and have a VERY messed up story.

I've never read the books, only watched the show. Do I need to read them?

I like both, but for different reasons. I'd say that the novels are better, but there's less limits. It does give me a dark chuckle every time Rick gives a hopeful speech

I'm with you 100%. Just finished the 3rd Omnibus and am on the hunt for issue 97-103 on ebay. I think the show may have made some crucial mistakes here.

Oh please do. They are fantastic and just so gritty. They have a lot more "Oh my God!!!" and "WTF!!!!" moments.

I just try to keep the two separate and enjoy each for what it is.
