Do you like the Twilight series??

Do you like the twilight movie series? Have you read the book? What did you think of both? I love the movies and the books have so much detail. I do not know how someone could dislike these, if the just look passed what other people think.

I read the books and hated them. With a passion. So I haven't even bothered with the movies.

Twilight just doesn't interest me.

Bella is one of the single most annoying selfish characters I have come across. And the actress who plays her can't act. Seriously, all she does is heavy breathing and play with her hair. The books.... are entertaining if you can deal with Bella being.... Bella.

I will admit to being entertained by the books. And the movies have some fan service so that's ok. There are major plot holes in the general idea of how the vampires interact with society (would you REALLY want to go through high school forever? Couldn't they paint themselves normal? Bella on her period ever?) but learning about the different abilities is pretty nice. And Bella get's less annoying after being transformed.

Ah, but I don't mean to put down the people who enjoy twilight. I'm one of those people too!

They are awful. I enjoy real literature and the movies exist for Rifftrax to rip on, in my opinion.

My sister loves them, though. Not my thing at all.

Two words explain why I loathe and detest Twilight: Sparkly Vampires. Are you effing kidding me?

I've read the books and seen all but the latest movie. It started because I taught high school freshmen and they begged me to read it over winter break. They're mildly entertaining, but certainly not literature, or even as good as most novels that don't even pretend to be literature.

I loved the books before they got this massive fandom, and then I got sick of them really quickly. I've seen the movies, but they're not as good as the books. Not that the books are that spectacular, but I did like them at the time. I don't see the point of despising them like some people do though.

Nope, I hate the books and the movies! I'm not big on romance stories to begin with, but bad fantasy mixed with bad romance? No thanks.

No! Twilight is anti-feminist, anti-woman and promotes an obviously abusive relationship as romantic. I fear for the girls and women who actually buy that crap.
