Which female character did you prefer and why! Katniss from the Hunger Games, Hermione from the Harry Potter books or Bella from Twilight?

Katniss! I was in love with her and also in love with the author for giving young readers a strong female heroine to look up to. Hermione is great too, but Katniss has my heart.

I'd say Katniss, mostly because I'm not a big Harry Potter fan, but from a literature standpoint they all have their weaknesses. I actually wrote a paper about how the have to make Katniss masculine to make her a hero. Although some would say her bow and arrow are a symbol of the cross between yonec and phalic (symbols of penis and vagina) making her practically asexual. Oh well. That's my rant.

Katniss for the win! Bella was just irritating and Hermoine is a know-it-all.

Katniss was pretty cool, but only in book 1. Katniss's survival skills really impressed me and had me thinking in a survival mindset for days after reading it
