Anyone here on EF seen the Green Lantern? Does it suck as badly as everyone is saying?

I was interested, but all the reviews make it sound like another SuckerPunch (pun intended ). Did anyone enjoy it?

I really do not think it's going to due the comics justice, but will wait till i see it for free (my best friend works at a theater and i always get in for free :p)

I'll probably rent it, but I won't pay for a ticket. Me and my friend are fans of the comic books (well, him more than me) so if it's as awful as the reviews make it out to be, we won't be pleased.

i do & don't want to see it. i know it's not going to be anywhere near the real comic story, & i'm still pissed they cast Blake freaking Lively as Carol Ferris, but i want to see it anyway. while i don't think Ryan Reynolds was the best pick for that part, he's still super hot.

I've never really been a big DC Universe fan (except for Batman and the Mark Hamill Joker).

I have zero desire to see this movie really.

OH...your taking about the MOVIE (just kidding). I am a big fan of the superhero movies. Loved Daredevil and the first couple Spider-man movies. Thor was amazing, but the trailers for Green Lantern look like cheesy special effects. Not even WOW or FUNNY in the previews, so I want to hear from some real people before plunking down $20 for tickets and $20 for popcorn on this one. Can't wait for Captain America, however.
