I am really liking Aesop Rock right now because his stuff is really intelligent and dense with content.
Immortal Technique is also great and very intelligent.
I like The Roots. And I enjoy white kid indie rap like WHY?

Have you listened to Busdriver? His style is, I think, somewhat in the vein of Aesop, indie alt rap sorta stuff. He's my favorite.

Additionally, I recommend checking out Angel Haze.
