Are You a Musician?

I sort of play guitar, my ex-boyfriend has all my instruments though

Violin, flute, guitar... and I must say I'm pretty talented at playing the skin flute. haha sorry, I couldn't resist.

I can play the piano, but have not played in a while since I am at school.

Guitar and Piano. I've been playing the piano since I was little and I've been playing the guitar for 5 years.

I don't consider myself a musician, but yes, I play some instruments.
I played acoustic guitar since I was ten years old.
As a teen, I became interested in hard rock, heavy metal and even more extreme genres. At the same time I started to learn electric guitar techniques. I was only 14, I think.
I was really into guitar playing and I even celebrated my 18th birthday on stage.
When I was 21, I injured my right hand by an accident. As a result, I partially lost my thumb and middle finger. Finger playing styles wasn't for me anymore, but I could still hold a pick. I decided to recover and I did it approximately in a year.
I believe I really had some guitar playing skills.
I also played bass, keyboards and drums. Nothing to boast here, I didn't step over the basics.
Yet another "instrument" I played was my PC. I mean software like samplers, sequencers, digital recording studios and so on. I recorded a number of compositions using only my guitars and my PC. They are far from professional recordings, but they sounds pretty good, considering the years they were recorded (late '90s).

Nowadays... I wish I have more time for music. My guitars are mostly collecting dust in the corner. I'm loosing my skills.

I have been learning to play guitar. I suck, but it's fun! (Who knew I could use that sentence on this site and have it mean something non-sexual?)

I don't play and I have never played, unless you count Guitar Hero. If so, then I am getting pretty good on the drums and guitar.

I play the guitar but that's it. I wish I knew how to play more instruments.

I played the clarinet and bass clarinet in High School. Learning to play cello is on my bucketlist. My husband dabbles with the guitar. My son is a big time drummer. His band has band practice at our house 3 nights a week with gigs in between so I don't feel like there is an room for me to have one more musical instrument going on in the house right now. After he leaves for college I think I will delve into the cello!

We all love music. If we are listening to him play, my husband and I are listening to the radio and dancing in the kitchen.

i was taught piano growing up. I wish i had kept up on lessons. I could not play a note to save my life now days.

I used to play alto sax, clarinet, drums, guitar and piano (for 10 years). I don't really play anymore, but would really like to get my piano from my parents house and start playing again. I do DJ and write electronic music, so I'm still using my musical skills. I use a great deal of my musical training when producing music in my home studio.

I've played guitar for 11 years and the drums i've only been playing for 3. I haven't played the clarinet or the piano in quite a few years now. I sold my piano years ago and i probably shouldn't have >.< I LOVE music. It's a great stress reliever for me and i also have tons of fun while playing/listening to music. Also enjoy writing lyrics Without music I'd probably go insane!

I used to play the bass clarinet. Went to band camp, the whole nine yards... Gave it up when I went to college. Really regret it all.

I've been playing the guitar for around 16 years now. Wish I could say I was really good at it by now, but I've been getting worse for the last 8 years.

Annnnnnnyway, I play Piano, and I'm trying to learn the violin. I consider my voice to be my favorite instrument though! I want to go to a university for theater!

To answer the question no, the closest I've gotten is when they made ever one get recorders link in music class in my elementary school and playing The Ocarina of Time in that N64 game

I completely lack the talent, lol. I was learning to play guitar, thanks to my ex, but he was such a poor instructor and so impatient, that I gave up easily.

I wish I could but I'm not musically gifted.
