In the fetish community I take part in, there's been a baby boom, so to speak. Not the kind where parents decide to produce offspring massively, but the kind that involves Adult babies.

One's fetish is their fetish and I try to avoid judging anyone else's lifestyle, however, I'm interested in how others choose to see the fetish and their viewpoints.

Let me just say that through research and talking to those who enjoy it, I have concluded that it doesn't involve any play with incest and usually isn't even sexual. Though it's classified as a fetish, some AB's simply choose to live their lifestyle because they enjoy it, the love, or the diaper-wearing aspect. (Not all AB's wear them, however.) I find the lifestyle highly interesting and with the amount of users Eden has, I know some of you have probably noticed the increased amount of pictures of the fetish circling around the internet. They're a little unavoidable if you watch any pornography or are involved with a fetish community of your own.

So, here are a few of my questions for you all:

It seems interesting to me. I think for most of them, it's about letting go of work, bills, etc. - just the stresses of adult life - and it's a form of relaxation.

Kind of like how a business man might go to a dominatrix because they're so used to having to be in charge that they want to let go?

I had a friend who expressed she thought Adult babies were just lazy and didn't want to take care of themselves, but I think it runs a lot deeper than that.

It interests me just bc I enjoy learning about people and why they do the things they do.
No I do not know any adult babies... but some people may call me an adult/ toddler
and yes I've seen videos about adult babies and their lives but never done a search for them

I saw an episode recently on Dr. Phil where a guy was an AB & his girlfriend was on board for taking care of him but didn't like it and didn't want him to be this way forever. He took it to extremes. She changed him, fed him, put him in his AB crib and read him stories and played with his baby toys. I guess I could understand if it was a certain period of time throughout the day, but not 24/7 like this guy was.

I always say 'to each their own', but it doesn't bother me the thought of others being turned on by an adult baby...don't really like that thought so much.

It is not my thing, but as long as it's Safe, Sane and Consensual and brings people pleasure, it's OK by me.

It really hard to tell where kinks come from. I know I don't like people judging my kinks, so I have no issue with other's kinks, again as long as they are SS&C.

I've never had any interest in trying this and even if my partner wanted to, I just don't think it's something I'd like. I've never actually met (in person) anyone who was into this, but I do have some online friends who practice it.
