No point fearing the inevitable.

I am not afraid of death, but the manner in which I shall die. I can't particularly convince myself that one way is better than another, I just don't want it to be a drawn out process.

there is a comedian here who left instructions for the words on his grave stone, they read....

' i told you i was ill....'

i dont think im scared of death, but i dont want to leave a mess behind, id like time to get organised?! but, in the same way, i want it to be quick...and painless!!! and not drowning!! apart from that....im easy

same here.. but when I do think about it, it does scare me. I like what LilDrummrGurl said about being afraid of not living while you're alive.

I guess I am a little afraid of what it'll be like and all, so I am afraid of "the unkown." Stupid I know, but I worry about things like my cats not being in heaven with me & things like being with all the things and people I love in heaven and how it will be, so I am a bit scared.

I'm afraid of losing someone I love.
I'm afraid of myself or anyone else suffering...of course, if I could chose between THEM suffering or Me, I'd pick myself to hurt.

I am not afraid of death, but somewhat uncertain when it comes to the process of dying.

I'm not at all afraid of death; I'm completely at peace with it.

Sort of? I'm not really sure. I tend not to think about it too much.

As mentioned above, natural death no. Slow and painful death then yes.

No I'm just hoping its not for a long time. I fear missing out on raising our daughter and growing older with my husband. I fear losing him to cancer as we just did his brother and mother. I fear dying too soon but its the too soon part that is scary.

Mainly because my children need me so much. Our youngest is 13 and needs a Mama. Even our middle one needs me a lot. Even our oldest one needs her Mama sometimes.

My husband needs me and has had some horrible experiences with death; losing his only sibling when he was preteen and his brother was a teen ager and one of his best friends as a teen and then his mentor (my best friend's husband and Dom, who took My Man under his wing and in My Man's words "is basically like my brother." Same age as his brother who died, similar personality etc.)

In fact, around the time we got engaged he had an anxiety attack (the only one I've known him to have) that "something is going to happen to you if I love you too much." Poor guy.

I have people who need me. Otherwise I wouldn't fear death too much.

I'm sorry your friend lost her pregnancy. It's a sad time, I've been through it myself. I hope she heals quickly and comes to peace with the situation. It's sad.
