Yes this is a real thing. I was trying to find a good site about the subject for another poster on here and stumbled across this. Really? So stupid that someone would honestly be that.... I don't know. I can't think of a word for that level of stupidity. What do you think?

Is that f'reel or a joke ? O___o

Furry stuff isn't my bag, but who cares if someone else likes it ? It's not real animals.

I've always thought that fursuits were technically impressive. Mascot-making takes a lot of work and skill and I've seen some pretty amazing things and I'm not going to knock it just because they're "furries".

It unfortunately is very real. Someone has too much time on their hands.

-_- That's almost as stupid as that cosplay racism group I've seen that hates all cosplayers except asian ones.
Why can't we all just get along? I mean if a 'furry' and a 'non-furry' both get hurt and the same veins are punctured in both of them they're going to bleed the same damn color unless they have some kind of medical problem or freaky side effect from a medication.
We're all human (even if some people do identify as 'furries') so we really ought to play nice with one another.

Sadly, the assumption that many have is that "furry" and "zoophiliac" are the same thing, and that's where a lot of the hate comes from. I've seen vids of people who don't like furries because they're afraid they'll rape their pets, given the chance. The trouble is, they're not the same thing - rather, they're two different subjects that only overlap for a very small number of people. Even most furries who tolerate or enjoy artwork of bestiality would find those same acts in real life to be disgusting.

It's the old "rape fantasy vs. actual rape" parallel yet again. It's called having a grounding in reality, people! Fantasy and true desire aren't quite the same thing! Not that that matters to those individuals who have the time to hate on others for this sort of thing.

It seems ridiculous. Why can't people live and let live? Furries aren't hurting them? Most Kinksters are not wanting to get "kids" into their evil clutches (I'm being sarcastic, being a Kinkster myself) but people think they can demonize a group of innocent people, who are just trying to have a good time with the "what if kids get interested?" Please.

Good parents keep an eye on what their kids are doing on the internet, and I doubt any kids are going to fall into a "Furrie cult" by accident or by design.

It's just silly to get upset about this at all.

I totally agree with this statement...

I can't tell you how often I have seen comments on yahoo things that prove this is true. For example: whenever anything comes up about gay rights I always see someone comment

"What is next? Pedophiles are allowed to marry children? Bestiality will be legal?"

I personally feel bad for the people who think this way. They are not even comparable. What two adults to together is their own business. They aren't taking advantage of something for one reason or another.

I'm only going to list one (because to list them all would take too long): 'A vast percentage of websites are devoted to pornography of all kinds.'. Untrue. Only 1% of the internet is devoted to porn, in all its various guises.

If it's not that persons thing why do they have to rain on everyone else's parade. I always hope that when there are angry old ladies/ old men who are really anti something (pegging, furry, bondage, secretly gay, what have you) are secretly into what they are protesting/ that their partner is secretly into that thing. That would be so funny.
