what is a good anti virus program to use?
I've used AVG free in the past, it's very good. I also use Malwarebytes, the free version.
I totally agree-- AVG. I just have the free version, too.
i use symantec antivirus. my school requires us to have a certain type of antivirus on our laptops before letting us use the wifi, & this is it. they give it to us for free. i actually love it. it's easy for me to use & it works well.
I'm an AVG Free user, too.
AVG Free or Avast, I've used both on different computers and I've never had any viruses.
I'm with the rest...AVG
And another for AVG
I used to have AVG in the past I found things still slipped by
we use Viper now.
Trend micro or AVG for me
When I get a virus and need a protection I use a combo of AVG and SuperAntiSpyware. Both are free if you get the trial versions
So, if you're infected, those are your best bets!
I have AVG and Avast! I also use SpyBot to frequently check for spyware and malware.. My little netbook runs flawlessly now. (:
McAfee antivirus, glary utilities and Malware bytes. The three mentioned wrer all free. Look @
. The McAfee antivirus is free if your a Bank Of America customer.
I use Avast, and Malwarebytes. I would also recommend that you have a couple of different programs kept on a flash drive. This can help you recover your computer if it has been corrupted.

Whaaaat? Mcafee free if you're a BoA customer?! How can I hook myself up with this? I bank with them!
Spybot search and Destroy is a good one. Microsoft security essentials is also a good one. AVG like others said is good. All are free at Download.com.
If you're looking for a free one use Avast. Go to
and look it up. It's amazing.
