I've gifted something to someone I've become friends with on here. Also, I once had someone gift me a $20 gift card out of the kindness of their heart -- repaying a beautiful gift of kindness from a stranger they'd been in contact with years ago, so the person promised all those years ago to pay it forward by doing something like it for a new person every so often. I just so happened to be that person last year on EF. It was very nice, and it actually inspired me to do the same! How awesome.

I think it's really fun to gift to EF friends. Heck, some of my EF friends are closer than my friends I see in person! Oh dear. I'm pathetic, ain't I! Lol.

Not for someone I just met/didn't really know. I've bought (and received) things from a friend though. Though sometimes I wish I had the funds/points to buy little things for people here and there, just a nice something to brighten their day (though it would be nice if it would be a surprise instead of the e-mail they receive telling them what they'll be getting in the mail). Also, the cost of shipping deters me because it's getting too expensive to send something small.
