Cat person - but I got the dog in the divorce. (My dog is the offspring of my parents' dogs, so the ex and I decided he should stay with my family's "pack".)

I think I am more of a cat person. For what Bex wrote above me, that they are more independent. My cat is such a sweetie, but isnt always up my butt 24/7. I dont mind cleaning out the litter pan either.

I love pups too, I adore beagles. But where we live it really isnt best for a dog (I need a fenced in yard, and we arnt aloud that here).

I'm more of a cat person because they are independent. I have cats and a dog. But my cats are my favorite. Puppy is great for the children, but he requires more of my time than a cat. With a puppy it's like have a toddler all the time. My cats do everything but clean out the box, themselves.
