My hubby has fun golfing occasionally and talked me into trying it--of course I knew it would be no fun...

Until I dropped the pail of balls and hit 9 at the same time--should have seen people duck!! And then I made the hole in about 12 over per hole....and I found a woman's emerald ring--she later claimed it--and hit a cow on the other side of the fence. I had a blast!!!

Of course, we both agree that it was a good thing it was not a course where we live, lol!! Maybe when we get home I should practice a bit more before we try this where people know us?

I've tried it a few times, actually took it for one of my college level PE requirements but I just can't get the hang of it. Too much concentration and such to just go whack a small ball.

Lol. I'm so glad you ended up having fun! I don't think I'd hate golf. I don't play at all, but could enjoy it if it was only a short game. Lol.

I'm actually a decent player - my index hovers around 9-11. I typically shoot in the low to mid 80s but will break 80 a couple of times each year.

It's great fun and pretty good exercise - walking for 4+ hours will burn lots of calories.

It's ok but I suck, only gone a few times
