Wednesday's Powerball jackpot is $305 million. That would be in the neighborhood of $120 million, after taxes, if you took the cash option.

I buy two lotto tickets a week. I never win anything, but it is my "contribution" to the state scholarship fund. When a big jackpot comes along, I might "splurge" and get two extra tickets.
