I don't really watching superbowl, football etc. But however I have already seen some of the commercials and some are funny. I don't mind the commercials, but I won't go out of my way to watch them on tv, I'll just look them up on youtube or something.

Ill be at work all day open to close. Oh shit that reminds me, I need to get off here and actually go into work haha.

I wish! I would say yes for sure but I have my second of four combat range days today! Don't they know its Superbowl??! Lol. Ah oh well! This is more fun! Automatic weapons and explosives just no cool budweiser commercials!

We actually are not big football fans either, but it IS sort of a social event..great reason to hold a party, and a number of our friends are fanatics, so it is always fun to watch THEM go bonkers.

I think that football (and other sports like MMA) are just modern day Gladiator games. Unlike in Rome where the death occurred in front of the blood thirsty audience - football players are left to retired crippled and brain damaged to die ingloriously - and prematurely. The average lifespan of an NFL football player is about 58-60.

It's really a crime and we who watch are abetting in the damage these men are subject to.

My husband has been watching TV (with a short break for sleep last night and sex this morning) since Friday afternoon. He's a football freak.

I'm not all that interested. I'll probably watch some commercials and catch them on YouTube, then watch The Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet with my kids.

IMO, Gunsmoke, it's kind of like certain jobs in the Sex Industry. Most people know what they are getting themselves into. They are willing to take the risks but either love the job and the work or really are good at it and really want the big money so they take the chance. It's less dangerous work than coal miners have to do and it pays LOT more.
