For some things, sure. It feels silly, but then it's a matter of "might as well observe it just in case." Nothing too absurd or out there, thankfully.

Not really. I've walked under tons of ladders because my dad used to be a type of handyman/electrician so there were ALWAYS ladders around lol. We've owned a black cat, who constantly crossed my path, and the only time it was unlucky was when he decided to walk UNDER my feet lol.

Not in the least. The way I see it, if something actually caused bad or good luck, then that belief would be universal. They never are. (For example, black cats are thought to bring both good and bad luck, depending on where you ask.)
Besides, the very idea of luck would seem to negate the notion that it can be influenced. Probability can be altered, but not flat-out luck.

Not at all. My father-in-law is pretty superstitious (from what I've been told his mother was practically the crazy kind of superstitious), so sometimes we'll do things that we know will set him off on a rant, because we think it's funny.

Somethings I admit I get a bit superstitious about.
My normally pragmatic father became a raving lunatic because I made my infant daughter laugh because he believed it would make her stutter later in life. He also believed the whole, "Cat sucking the baby's breath" wheeze. Which is odd cause we had cats all my life growing up but when it came to his granddaughters he was go ballistic!
