My partner and I are trying to make plans for if we're going to take a vacation this summer and where we would go. I wanted to hear what you all are doing!

We always go to a 3 day music festival July.It's not terribly far away, so it probably would be more of a stay-cation, although we do go in our camper and camp out. It's the best weekend ever!

I guess technically we are, we're visiting my parents, but it's mostly to drop off our oldest daughter for a month with them. We're only paying a portion and most of it will be spent in a car. Not exactly relaxing.
I'm hoping to do something with my sister next year. We'll see how that goes...

We'll probably end up doing a couple of weekend long things here and there. I know we're planning on going to Vegas in October for the Lowrider Supershow, but other than that, we don't have anything definitively planned out.

We're going to Orlando and Miami in a couple of weeks. We'll be down there for a little over a week. It as a trip his dad gave us for our anniversary present. We can't wait!

I have a week off in July and a (refundable - thank God) hotel room booked on the beach in Wildwood Crest (the nice part of the Jersey shore, not what they show you on Mtv) but that was booked for me and my now ex. So if I meet someone else by then, to Wildwood we go...if not, I'm canceling the hotel and driving to visit my mom for a week. Which works out pretty well because she lives in North Myrtle Beach so I'm taking a beach vacation either way.

I wish. Can I just tell you about my dream vacation instead? I'd like to visit either Italy or the Greek Isles.
If we could go to Italy, Venice and Pompeii would be at the top of my list. Then I'd visit Florence, Rome, and the Tuscan countryside, if time permitted (I'm making money no object in my dream vacation!).
If we went to the Greek Isles, I would want to rent a moped and soak up as much sun, fresh breezes, and time in the villages and countryside as possible. Ah, the breathtaking colors . . . Ah, a Mediterranean summer . . .
That's how I'd love to spend this summer. If I could do that and look forward to another summer vacation next year, I'd probably go to Ireland. The year after that, I'd go to Bali. The year after that, . . . Okay, I've snapped out of my blissful reverie and will spare you the details of my musings!

The only place I've been on your list (which are ALL places I would love to visit) is Hawaii. We were only able to visit Oahu, so I'd love to go back and visit the smaller islands (and Oahu again) one day. It was so breathtakingly beautiful. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it.

I don't know yet if I will be able to take a vacation. I certainly hope I can. It will be much easier to take time for trips when I'm not both working and in school, but that won't be for another year.

My Man is going with some people from a friend's church to help build a Community Center with a Native American tribe in one of the western states, though. He's looking forward to it.

I'm doing a family vacation, not with my guy. We're going hiking in the Smokey Mountains (close enough to drive) and then hopefully San Diego.
My next "vacation" with my guy will be August/September when I'm back at school. I'll be living out of his hotel room for a week
