Attending church today? (Sunday)

We're in the obvious minority. We go every Sunday and occasionally more often.

I am a Buddhist atheist so I never go to church unless I have to for a funeral or something.

No, atheist. But I love engaging in discussions with my more religious friends about the topic, and hearing how people integrate their beliefs with their daily lives. I photograph weddings in churches all the time, so I don't have any issues going to a church. I just don't bow my head when everyone else does.

I've gone to church every Sunday for most of my life (and youth nights during the week and daily chapel during college), but I haven't been in about 1.5 year now. The church I was going to was great, but I eventually reached that point where I wasn't learning anything or really felt I was getting anything from it. My boyfriend has a religion degree and he and I talk about faith topics every other day, so I feel much more intellectually satisfied with religion than I have before.

He's also Jewish and I've been considering regularly attending the local reformed synagogue, but I'm still really nervous about it. I've been to a few events, Torah studies, etc, but feel really odd during services since I can't participate in all of the Hebrew!
