Stalk end. But! It is easier to open it from the bottom end. You just pinch the bottom hard. . . like a nipple I suppose, best way I could describe it, and it splits open and you just peel the skin away.

I seen this on a show once and tried it but it was just too weird so I stuck with stalk end.

I've always used the stalk. Someone one showed me to open it from the other side so you could have something to hold onto while you eat it but I wouldn't conform

I don't eat them, but I have to open them for the boys and I always open them from the stalk end.

All you have to do is simply squeeze the tip and the peel will split open. It really works much better than breaking it from the stalk.
