Batteries

Does anyone know any Stores where you can get N batteries? I mean offline. I checked Kmart and Walmart both didn't have them. But then again they could just be out in these stores around here. But I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas of what mass merchandisers might carry them? Also one toy says it takes a 1 LR1? I haven't been able to find either at the store..
