I use Internet Explorer. I need to use it for the website I work for, because it doesn't work well with other browsers, and I guess I just tend to stick with it for other stuff too.

Firefox all the way!!! I have been using Firefox for a long time and it suits my needs perfectly as long as I have a computer that can handle the load.

I use Flock although I do have chome & firefox on my computer. Firefox is a great browser but you get the features of explorer and some of firefox's plus there on all in flock yet it runs faster than firefox especially for dialup users like me

I primarily use Firefox and sometimes Explorer. I have to use Explorer at work as their system only has Explorer.

Firefox, mos def.

Chrome was nice, but just slowed my whole (new!) computer down. It uses a LOT of RAM, esp when you have a bunch of tabs open.

I was on a computer some time recently and found a Netscape icon.

I've never tried chrome.

I love the small address bar area in Chrome. I'm using a laptop so I value my screen space.

@ JR (aka Mr. Sauce): I think Chrome uses more memory initially because each tab is run as a separate process. It does that so if one page crashes it doesn't take your whole browser down with it.

Firefox might use less RAM to begin with but I think it has a memory leak problem

My husband swears by Opera's gestures.

Yeah, what Prax said for all the same reasons.

I started using Chrome exclusively for this site long ago because EF's site is Javascript heavy and Chrome - at the time at least - had the fastest Javascript engine. I'm not sure if Chrome is still faster with Javascript or not.

I like Firefox for the No Script addon, it's very handy and has prevented me from getting adware yet!

I normally use firefox, but when I have problems I use google chrome or safari. Sometimes my Flash doesn't work in firefox, like for webcams.

Firefox has a weird issue with Flash. Every few weeks it tells me flash isn't installed and I have to install again.

In this thread. In general IE is still the winner. The average user doesn't bother to change from what was already on their PC.

The last time I was helping my mom with PC problems I commented that she really should start using Firefox. A look of fear crossed her face and she said "I always click this icon to get to the Internet. Now you want me to do something else?" Never mind mom. Stick with IE.
