I love both and would love to have both or visit both. But i have to choose ocean because i love watching the waves and listening to the ocean, it's quite lovely.

for summer a beach house but i would much rather live in a mountain house. hub and i have been considering moving out if he city and into a house in the mountains. hopefully our next home!

I used to have a house in the mountains, and it was my favorite place I've ever been. I'd love to live in the mountains now because of my fond memories.

I'd love a mountain house, somewhere like Lake Tahoe. Beach houses you have to worry about Hurricanes (east coast)...and too much traffic getting to/from them.
