I have found that most of the book series' I read are much better than the movies. Do you feel this way too or does it depend on the series?

book are more descriptive which makes them better in my opinion

books are usually better because there is more description in them. if I like the movie, I'll read the book. but if I read the book first I don't like to watch the movie cause I'm always pointing out what they leave out that I think should have been added.

I read all the way to the 5th Harry Potter book when in High school and they were a hell of a lot better! I'm not saying that the movies sucked because they didn't, but the books were just so amazing..I couldn't put them down! And plus with movies, something important always gets left out

Books are better 90% of the time. I say 90% because there are some "meh" books that have been made into great movies.

Books are usually better. Then again, it depends on the series, and IF the movies/TV shows are almost 100% accurate to the books.

The lazy part of me prefers to watch a film, but I really miss some of the beautiful language found in novels.

Most movies can't totally capture the essence of the book. However, if I like a book enough, I will still watch the movie.
