Yes I have. The experiences have been a mixed bags. Most were fun, but there were a couple that I could have done without. And the bad ones were bad because the guys were terrible in bed, not because it was awkward at all.

I have had casual sex. It is not something I do very often though. Its usually just ok, but depends on the person. There has been an occasion where things were awkward though.

There was a time a few years ago that I did this a lot. But I've gotten to a point that I just can't. No matter how hard I fight it, I end up becoming emotionally invested and that's just no bueno. It did make for some pretty good sex though.

I've had sex outside of relationships but never one night stands. They've been friends with benefits type of situations, more of a "hey we're both single and sick of masturbating all of the time" thing.

Nope, I have to have a connection or be dating first. Otherwise I just feel used and thrown away, and that's a terrible feeling to have.

I've never had a one night stand but I have had sex with people that I was not officially dating. I don't know if it really counts though, becuase we basically acted like a couple does..we just never had any labels attached to what we were and they were short things that kind of just fizzled out..

A successful sexual encounter generally requires some knowledge of your partner - so for that reason even the first few attempts at sex with a partner can be less than explosive.

However I have had 1st time sex that was quite explosive - and it is possible in a one night stand. For me it's a question of convergence - if your mentally prepared for hot sex with a new partner - and they have the right skill set - BOOM - you've got it.

I haven't had casual sex in over 20 years - but I'd estimate when I was active my batting average was about 50-50 making it a attractive option at times.

The only person I've had sex with is my current boyfriend. I don't ever want casual sex--I want to be connected with that person.
