Ive been speaking to customer service on C4S and Im still not fully understanding their responses. I understand we need 2 forms of ID to get started, but as an individual I do not need any W9 forms or anything, Is that correct?

I asked if a Passport card would work and she said it would for your photo ID but then mentioned producers needing a W9 form. I am just an individual so what I am wondering is Should I just use my drivers license and a passport card for my 2 forms of ID?

I do not want to spend money on a passport card if i do not really need one. Any help would be great!

I am not even sure what C4S is but if you are working for yourself pretty much all I have ever had to do was provide my SS# so they could report what I made to the IRS an then I filed a Misc. 1099 form at tax time.

A business has to complete a 1099 at tax time for every individual or business it paid over $600.00 in fees, affiliate earnings or for services. Copies are sent to the state, IRS and are included on the businesses tax return as an expense.

You receive a 1099 for your own filing purposes and must include it on your taxes. These are not earnings, but are income so save receipts for anything you spent money on to perform your duties on the site. Example: cam, costume, lingerie, dildo, internet services, computer, and other related expenses. If you have over the standard deductable amount--you will use the long form on your taxes and the deductions will count towards figuring out your profit or loss and taxable income.

I started the sign up process and they do ask for the social which made me a little nervous but I know its inevitable. But for the part where it asks to upload the proof of ID the first option is your ID, so ill use my drivers license. second said (for international users) upload a utility bill. Im not international but I hope i dont have to because i live with someone else. Then third was the W9 form but the top section made it seem like a business and not an individual. Im kind of confused but Ill figure it out later.

Have you had much success with camming or selling clips?
