We have a VERY tight group of about nine couples. We are actually about the youngest couple in that group (one other younger), but overall, there is less then ten years difference in age between us all.

What is YOUR closest friends ages, compared to yours? Do you have friends in all different age groups or does "common references" make you close to those with whom you have common ages as well?

I tend to be more comfortable with people who are older. The two people I talk to most other than my guy are in their mid-20s. I don't keep that many people very close, for me it would ruin the intimacy of the friendship.

All of our close friends are within a 5 year age difference. So we are all really about the same age.

Our closest group of friends, like you several couples, are actually very close in age. There is about a 5-6 year range between us.

i have 2 close groups of friends, 1 at home & 1 at school. the 1 at home we're all the same age, only separated by months. the 1 at school, we're only separated by a yr or 2. i'm 1 of the older 1s.

Huge range of age differences in friends - about half are around my age (early to mid 30's) and the rest range between 20-to-30 and 35-to-60.

Most of my friends are late 20s to mid 30s, but I do have a few that are younger than me (25), and a few my own age. I've always preferred older friends though.

I have 2 best friends... one is the same age as me and one is one year younger...

But, the majority of my friends are at least 10 years older than me... I get along better with older people... even my boyfriend was older than me (12 years)...
