CURSING/CUSSING

Contributor: DeliciousDrip DeliciousDrip
I'm not sure which word u use.. i say "cuss". Lol
Anywaysss, I think i cuss way to much.. It's so unlady-like ! Gosh, imagine when i'm really upset, it's NON-stop cussing!

I'm slowly getting out of it though, i find myself using funny words or sayings to replace cuss words. Lol Like i say "Shut the fuck up" ALOT! So RECENTLY i've been saying "Shut the front door" ha! It's funny && i confuse ppl all the time!

I swear a lot. Of course, I try to keep myself "cleaner" around my parents and in public, but when I get really emotional my language gets extremely salty. XD

I do it mostly for emphasis. If I say "fuck" in a sentence 20 times, you know I'm really trying to drive a point home lol.

I admit I do it out of anger or frustration, not all the time, though. i also have a mouth around the guys, lol. Usually I try to limit it, especially doing my best to not say anything around kids, or replace the words.

I cuss a bit too much. Not every other sentence, but pretty often. My mom hates my potty mouth, so around her I tend to use words like jerkhole and fork (instead of fuck), as lame as that is.

This is me as well. I grew up around a lot of older folks so I am good at keeping it clean when I need to.

Get me pissed though, it just flows out no holds bared.

Oh and by the way... I may be the only one who gets a kick out of this but I just got the platnum edition of Scarface the movie. There is an extra feature on the dvd that keeps track of bullets fired and FBombs dropped its so funny you have to check it out.

I had a sailor's mouth in my teens, but try to keep the language clean these days. Cursing (to me) seems very unprofessional, and I have a parrot who would pick it up immediately if I cursed around her. Sometimes I do mutter curse words under my breath if I'm angry, or if I get really pissed off. Mostly I keep it clean though!

This. At work it is controlled, the most I say on the floor is 'back the truck up' or 'for fox lake'. In the office with the boss though is different. We swear WAY too much.

i tend to cuss quite a bit. my friends freak out sometimes when we're in public b/c i don't filter myself when there are little kids around. i laugh & tell them to get over it b/c, lets face it, those kids hear their parents say the same stuff all the time. i've been trying to watch myself more, though.

If my son is around, I never curse. The second he leaves the house or goes to bed, I drop the f-word like there's no tomorrow. Same at work - never curse there, but as soon as I'm out the door the curse words come a-flyin'.

Most people swear way too much. It's a lot like second-hand smoke. Blurting it out in all but the most cuss-worthy circumstances shows no respect for others, especially children.

I cuss almost every day, usually jokingly, like when my boyfriend does something to intentionally annoy me I'll just call him an ass, but I do come out with a long string of them if I'm incredibly angry.

Yeah, I tend to agree. I really dislike it when I'm out in public (maybe out to eat with my family - parents, grandparents, etc) and someone is cursing audibly in the vicinity for no real reason. It seems to be pretty normal, but I don't really like it.

I have the mouth of a sailor. But I also use a lot of big words and never use slang. So I think a lot of people bypass the fact that I swear because I don't sound like an idiot other wise.

I have a wide, and well developed vocabulary... I can use one single word as almost every word in sentence. Generally speaking, my language is atrocious. Luckily I do have a filter that I can turn on when my normal vernacular isn't appropriate.

I cuss way too much, and I'm trying to curb it. However, I do believe in using strong language to express strong emotion, so I will use profanity when I'm angry or trying to make a point.

Usually only when I am angry. It's a turn off to me when people use curse words in every other sentence.

I curse far less than I use to. Not for any reason, I just noticed I don't say it as much.

I like to save it for special occasions, when I'm really upset or excited!!

I grew up with sailors. The english nerd in me thinks it's fun to randomly use curse words as nouns, verbs, adjectives, gerunds, and everything in between.
